Engine #9

While I am sitting here waiting for my pics to upload, a fire engine (#9) and a ladder truck along with the paramedics pull up outside of our house. About four firefighters all decked out in their gear leisurely get out of the trucks and walk up to the house diagonally from ours. There is a youngish guy waiting for them and they head to the back of the house. I can see nor smell any smoke so I don't know what is happening...A few minutes have passed and the firefighters are getting back into their trucks. Poor guys, dressed in those hot uniforms for what seems like a very small fire or a false alarm. Oh well, I guess they have to be prepared for anything. That was the most exciting thing to happen to me today!
